Launching Of Smart Watch

In the year 2000, when Google, as well as Samsung, were disrupting the Android smartwatch market, Huawei also announced it would launch the Huawei Watch 3. It was based using a new, proprietary operating system known as HarmonyOS 2. It followed it in the form of its Huawei Watch GT 3. It is therefore not a big surprise that Huawei has returned to launch its Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro. The last calendar year’s Watch 3 was a good effort and reminded me of some of the Samsung Tizen smartwatches.

While I have not had an experience with the GT 3 Pro for very long, however, what I have seen thus far is in line with the overall feel. Well, huawei watch promotion It is the GT 3 Pro comes in two variants of titanium and one that is all-ceramic. The former has a 46.6mm case and a 1.4-inch OLED display while the one that is less imposing is 42.9mm with the 1.3-inch display. Both models also have sapphire glass and IP68 water, dust protection, and are waterproof for up to 5ATM (164 feet). The battery life is estimated to be 14 days with the titanium version, and as long as 7 days with the ceramic version.

In Terms Of Specs, Both Watches Have All The Sensors That You Would Expect To Find In A High-End Smartwatch

This comprises optical heart rate sensors, SpO2 sensors as well as an accelerometer and Gyroscope. Additionally, it has a barometer, temperature sensor, as well as a magnetometer. As far as the latest capabilities are concerned, the watches come with an updated free-dive exercise mode and a built-in GPS. Additionally, it has EKG capability, though only in those countries where Huawei has obtained the necessary approval from the regulators. Huawei finds itself in a tense position when it comes to its tech for consumers. Due to an executive decree that was issued by former President Donald Trump in 2019, the company is barred from using US technology in its products. This includes Android as well as Wear OS, which is why it is the proprietary OS. In addition, even though I could try out my Watch GT 3 Pro, it is not one of the smartwatches that I could actually purchase within the US. (You could, however, If you are somewhere in Europe.)

It’s A Shame Because Huawei’s Been Involved In Wearables For Quite A While And Produced Some Fantastic Smartwatches In The Process

I have played around with the titanium model of the GT 3 Pro, and it is an excellent smartwatch. The display is bright and apps load fast with HarmonyOS 2, and, although the design of the watch is not my style, it will be a hit with those who prefer the look of a traditional and masculine watch. However, I would recommend an alternative strap to work out. Metal link straps do not handle sweat well and are generally less flexible, which isn’t good for the accuracy of heart rate. Additionally, the links are difficult to adjust which is why it took a ridiculously long time to adjust the watch in size to would fit my wrist.

However, I also can observe the same issues that I encountered when I test with the Huawei Watch 3. In particular, I can see the basic features of a great smartwatch however, due to the location in which I live, I’m unable to utilize its top features. For instance, I am not able to make use of its voice interface. This is since HarmonyOS 2 does not use Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. It is a proprietary assistant named Celia, which requires you to own a Huawei phone. Which I am also unable to buy. In addition, I am limited to exclusive Huawei apps as there is no genuine third-party app support, making it more like a fancy fitness tracker, not a smartwatch. It is kind of like an upgraded Fitbit with a significantly higher-end design and a more elegant operating system to boot. In fact, I’m sure If Fitbit were to release similar products, they’d be very popular.
